Location

The IGS Library is located on the bottom floor of Moses Hall (see campus map for exact location), at the southeast end of the UC Berkeley campus, just north of Bancroft Way and just across from Barrows Hall (the building that houses the Political Science Department). If you are entering Moses Hall from the north side, walk down a flight of stairs and turn right. The library reading room entrance will be to your immediate right. If you are entering from the east (from the Moses Hall courtyard), walk down the hall and turn left at the first open doorway.

Library Hours

The library is open weekdays from 9:00 to 5:00, with reference service offered weekdays from 11:00 to 5:00 or by appointment.

Library Events

The Library reading room is sometimes used for IGS and campus events. These events are almost always advertised on the campus calendar network and usually affect the availability of Library services and resources. Check ahead by phone if you are uncertain whether the Library is open at a given time.
