Come and explore six pivotal twentieth century presidents at the “Presidents, Politics and Power” Film Series sponsored by the Institute of Governmental Studies Library, the National Endowment for the Humanities, National Video Resources, the American Library Association, and UC Berkeley Extension.  Featured presidents include Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.  Each evening, we will watch one hour of film clips (taken from PBS's "American Experience" film series) and  engage in a discussion with a journalist, film historian or a member of the Berkeley faculty about the presidency. Please join us for six full evenings devoted to an exploration of the presidency through film, culminating in a discussion of the first year of George W. Bush's presidency at the Annual Review of the Presidency on April 18, 2002 in 155 Dwinelle Hall, on the UC Berkeley campus, from 7-9 p.m.
