Aaron R. Hall Winner of the 2015 Fred Martin Award
Congratulations to Aaron R. Hall, the 2015 recipient of the Fred Martin, Jr. American Political History award. A graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Law School, Aaron is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of History. He is working on a dissertation titled: A Constitutional Sublime: Claiming the Founding in Antebellum America that explores the development of constitutional consciousness in early American history.
The Martin Award is named in honor of Fred J. Martin, Jr., an IGS Visiting Scholar, author, and expert on the US election of 1864.
