Samuel Garrett Zeitlin Named Winner of 2016 Underhill Fellowship

Congratulations to the 2016 recipient of the Underhill Fellowship, Samuel Garrett Zeitlin, a UC Berkeley Political Science Ph.D. student whose research focuses on the political thought of Francis Bacon (1561-1626). The R. Kirk Underhill Graduate Fellowship provides $30,000 to a UC Berkeley graduate student who has advanced to candidacy and whose research focuses on Anglo-American affairs. 

The Undershill Fellowship is administered by the Anglo-American Studies Program at IGS, which supports faculty and graduate student research, conducts scholarly conferences, and features an annual R. Kirk Underhill lecture.
