Three IGS Alums recognized by prestigious Chancellor's Award

Congratulations to these three incredible recipients of the prestigious Chancellor's Award!

The first recipient, Esme Nuno Mora, '26, is a 2025 Democracy Camp in Berkeley Alum with deep passion for creating higher pathways for unnaccompanied homeless youth, and aiming to pursue her PhD and influence policies that effect foster and homeless students. 

The second recipient, Mckenzie Diep, '27, is a 2023 Schaeffer Fellowship Alum with an incredible drive to aid those dealing with housing and displacement issues, and activiely researching displacement and urban development policies and its connection to race. 

The third recipient Daniel Muñoz, 23', is a 2022 Democracy Camp in DC Alum with an aspiration to be a leader for the youth within his community and to advocate for policies that provide better opportunities while actively supporting incarcerated youth as a California Justice Leader.
