Manuel Gomez Garcia (He/Him)
Manuel Gomez Garcia is a first-generation college student majoring in Legal Studies and Economics. Manuel is a Mexican-American who grew up in a large agricultural and labor community in Santa Maria, California. His passion for labor and immigration rights stems from working in the strawberry fields at the age of 13 and growing up in a community filled with immigrants. His passion for social justice and equality has driven him to pursue a career in public service, where he hopes to contribute to research and legislation. He has demonstrated a commitment to social justice, working for the East Bay Sanctuary as an intern and at the Berkeley Law School. Manuel wants to continue to give back to his community and hopes to ensure the prosperity of others.
