Sally Ching is a third year at UC Berkeley studying Political Science, Public Policy, and Education. She is interested in learning how policy is developed at the local level. She hopes her experience as a Matsui Local Government Fellow will help her gain an understanding of how to serve her community and directly affect policy. She has previously interned for the U.S. Department of Education and the Mayor’s Office of the City of Berkeley. She is currently active in student government and works as a tutor for elementary and high school students.
