A panel of experts will discuss the many challenges facing democracy in California in the 2020s. With rising polarization nationally, the president’s deployment of the National Guard to Los Angeles, ICE raids across the state, and recent challenges to voting rights, do the state’s voters believe democracy is in crisis?
