Bio/CV: 

Isabella is a first-generation Latine student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley by a loving family who immigrated from Mexico in the 1980's. Her academic pursuits and passion for public service inspired her to become an International Lawyer to defend those suffering from the greatest injustices around the world.


During Isabella’s time at UC Berkeley she has been dedicated taking an active role in the campus community, through conducting research as a Conflict Anticipation and Prevention Research Apprentice, writing legislation for the ASUC in Senator Justin Taylor’s Office, leading Clark Kerr Campus’ Hall Association as its President, and helping students thrive as a Peer Advocate Lead at the Transfer Student Center.


For almost 2 years, she was a Legislative Intern and Office Assistant for California State Senator Henry Stern at his District Office, where she worked closely with their legislative team to carry out research and proposed policies which are still underway. She also assisted in restructuring and organizing their current Internship Program.


Isabella is participating in the Spring 25’ UCDC Program where she looks forward to engaging with fellows and learning from the expertise of professionals in the legal field.
