Ana Gonzalez is a senior at the University of California, Berkeley pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and English. Passionate about immigration and education policy, she conducted policy research, drafted 15+ backgrounders, and supported district-level community outreach in a legislative internship with California State Assemblymember Mia Bonta in Assembly District 18. Additionally, Ana has advanced accountability-focused research at the Berkeley School of Law Human Rights Center by analyzing open-source videos in English and Spanish to document human rights violations for investigative and legal use. This increased public awareness and was featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes. She continues to support legal operations at Law Offices of Charles Drexler by drafting 3+ estate plans weekly, while digitizing and organizing 60+ client case files, and providing administrative support to improve workflow efficiency and reduce work delays. Ana is seeking federal internships in legal support or legislative research with government agencies focused on immigration, civil, or human rights. Examples include congressional offices, such as U.S. Senator Alex Padilla’s, and organizations like the League of United Latin American Citizens.
