Bio/CV: 

Christopher Bailey is a third-year student at the University of California, Berkeley pursuing a B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies with a minor in Public Policy. His academic and professional interests focus on housing policy, government affairs, and access to legal and civic institutions, shaped in part by his lived experience with housing insecurity during his time at Berkeley. Christopher currently works as a Legal Assistant at Wykowski & Wood LLP, where he drafts legal documents, conducts administrative and court-focused legal research, and supports firm operations and case strategy. In addition, Christopher is the Legislative Director for Berkeley’s Student Government (ASUC) Executive Vice President’s Office, where he has authored multiple bills, secured strike relief funding for student workers, and led a comprehensive revision of legislative bylaws. He also works as a Research Assistant for the National Elections Across Democracy and Autocracy project, analyzing national elections using quantitative indicators of democratic quality. 

Christopher seeks opportunities in housing policy and federal advocacy to contribute to practical, data-driven policy solutions.
