Bio/CV: 

John is a lawyer who practiced in government and private firms in Washington, DC, since 1993.  He started his career as a professional staff member on the Senate Judiciary Committee for then-Chairman Joseph R. Biden, Jr.  He later served in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was an Associate Deputy Attorney General and Special Counsel for Healthcare Fraud.  He eventually transitioned to the private sector and retired as a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.  In his spare time, he is a firefighter and EMT with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad.  He was a Cal-in-the-Capital intern in 1985 and a student director in 1986.
