Bio/CV: 

Mi Tang is a Sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Political Science (Concentration: American Politics) and minoring in Political Economy. Passionate about serving women and the Southeast Asian community, she has continuously been an advocate through combining her interests with leadership, professional experience, and cultural involvement. At Berkeley, she serves as Chief of Staff to the Southeast-Asian-community–endorsed Senator on campus, where the office advocates for the needs of the Southeast Asian diaspora on campus. Additionally, she is the Program Director for the Menstrual Equity Commission, where she ensures that every bathroom on campus has routinely stocked menstrual product dispensers. With a keen interest in understanding how our government institutions can protect and serve marginalized communities, she seeks opportunities at congressional offices like Lateefah Simon's or organizations like the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS)--aligning with her commitment to continuously advocate for the most vulnerable populations.
