An Le is a second-generation Vietnamese American student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Conservation & Resources Studies with a minor in City Planning. Driven by a deep commitment to environmental justice and equitable urban development, An is passionate about addressing the disproportionate impacts of climate change on marginalized communities. Grounded in years of cultural organizing and activities, her leadership approach is driven to create inclusive, accessible, and welcoming spaces.

An’s professional experience is defined by translating strategic goals into actionable change, and driving advocacy at both the institutional and community level. As an ASUC Berkeley Clean Energy Campus Associate, she collaborates with campus stakeholders to advance the UC Berkeley clean energy microgrid transition, amplifying student voices in sustainability planning. An also previously interned with the Vietnamese American Roundtable (VAR), where she blossomed her dedication for community and cultural advocacy by supporting youth leadership and civic projects. Her commitment to cultural communities is further demonstrated by her previous leadership for the 50+ member Cal Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) Lion & Dragon Dance Team. She additionally remains an active member of both Cal VSA and NorCal UVSA, the regional umbrella organization uniting collegiate VSAs in Northern California, dedicated to continuing spaces of cultural unity and collaboration.

Leveraging this foundation in policy, analysis, and grassroots engagement, An is excited to continue her public service journey as a Cal-in-Sacramento Fellow, leading with her values of climate justice and community.
