Tamera Martin (she/her)

Tamera Martin is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of California (UC), Berkeley studying Ancient Greek & Roman Studies, with minors in African-American Studies and French. As a young Black woman, her identity gives her so much pride and has been a catalyst for her interest in public service and social justice. She is an only child of a single mother and her experiences growing up predominantly white spaces the majority of her life allow her to appreciate the diversity and education around her. Whether it was being a high school intern for a UCLA African-American Studies professor, or her extensive involvement in student government and pre-law organizations at UC Berkeley, she proves to be an active learner and has become a thoughtful leader.
