Nicole Rangel is an educator and Ph.D. candidate in the Social and Cultural Studies of Education program at UC Berkeley. She also holds a master's in sociology from San Diego State University. David Michael Howard (1948–2012) was a top political strategist in Sacramento with more than 35 years of experience in political advocacy, community organizing, and election campaigns.
