Eshal Syeda Naqvi (she/her)
Eshal Naqvi is a South Asian Muslim Immigrant and a dedicated student majoring in Political Science and Ethnic Studies. Born in Pakistan and raised in Southern California, Eshal’s experiences have fueled her unwavering commitment to civil rights, social justice, and advocacy for marginalized communities in the United States. Deeply passionate about addressing inequities in education, economic opportunities, and gender equity, Eshal cares to uplift and protect girls, ensuring their safety and empowering them to succeed.
As a commissioner on her city’s Youth Council, she focused on bringing justice to local educational systems, striving to create spaces where all students—especially young girls—can thrive. In high school, she held leadership roles in various organizations dedicated to community activism and the advancement of girls' rights, experiences that continue to shape her approach to social change.
Eshal aspires to use law as a tool for social change. With aspirations to work in public service law, particularly in human and civil rights, she is committed to using her education and leadership skills to challenge injustice and advocate for the underrepresented.
