Danielle Mitchell (she/her)
Danielle Mitchell is a second-year undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a double major in Political Science and History with a focus on International Relations and U.S. Foreign Policy. As a distinguished recipient of the Fiat Lux Scholarship and the U.S. Army’s 4-Year National Scholarship, Ms. Mitchell exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, and dedication as she prepares for a future as an Army Officer.
Driven by a vision to bridge the fields of law, diplomacy, and international affairs, Ms. Mitchell aspires to earn a Juris Doctor degree and leverage her unique experiences to enact transformative change in both domestic and global policy. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Berkeley’s Black Pre-Law Association, where she is committed to dismantling educational and professional barriers for Black students aspiring to enter the legal field.
In addition, Ms. Mitchell contributes as a Research Assistant at the Institute of International Studies, where she collaborates with the Co-Director on critical foreign policy research, further honing her expertise in global diplomacy.
Her dedication to equity and women’s empowerment is evident through her active membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Through her academic achievements, professional endeavors, and advocacy work, Ms. Mitchell remains steadfast in her commitment to advancing justice, equity, and opportunity for underrepresented communities.
