Application
The Percy Grant application is due by Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 11:59pm.
The application includes:
- Brief questionnaire
- Essay
- Budget and brief description of research expenses
- Resume
- Transcript(s)
- Name of recommender (faculty member or GSI)
Recommendation
All applicants are required to secure a recommendation from a UC Berkeley faculty member or GSI. Your recommender must submit a letter of recommendation via the Percy Grant Recommender Form no later than Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 11:59pm. Applicants are responsible for conveying these instructions to their recommender.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the Selection Committee in early December. Selected grant recipients will be notified in mid-December 2023, and the financial award issued in January 2023. Recipients will be invited to share their research at the Percy Synar Award Ceremony and Reception, held in February 2024.
