Anthony Ocampo is Associate Professor of Sociology and Provost Fellow at Cal Poly Pomona, as well as the Faculty Director of the Cal State University Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program. He is author of The Latinos of Asia: How Filipino Americans Break the Rules of Race (Stanford Press), and the forthcoming Brown and Gay in LA: Queer Sons of Immigrants Coming of Age (NYU Press). He is also the founding editor of the Asian American Sociology series at NYU Press. Dr. Ocampo's research on immigration and race has been cited or featured in The New York Times, the New Yorker, NPR, NBC, and a number of Filipinx and Latinx media outlets.
