Stephen is a Ph.D. candidate in political behavior, American politics, and methodology. He is currently receiving support from a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. His research interests include political psychology, electoral behavior, election administration, individual differences, personality, and psychometrics.

Prior to arriving at Berkeley in the fall of 2009, he received a BA in Psychology and Political Science from Rice University.
