Alexandria Wright received her Ph.D. in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, with a research focus in phenomenology, aesthetics, and American cultural production. She also earned a designated emphasis in Gender, Women, and Sexuality. Prior to graduate school, she served as the Media Field Strategist for the east coast with GLAAD and as a facilitator with StoryCorps, both in New York City. She’s spent time in advertising, doing creative and strategy work for Leo Burnett and OMD. Most recently, she headed marketing communications for a floral design company in Savannah, GA. Alexandria received her BA in American Studies and Philosophy from Barnard College of Columbia University. She joined IGS as the Director of External Programming in January 2019.
